Every individual associated to an Organization can be assigned permissions, termed administrative rights. There are two levels of administrative rights:
When a person is assigned as a Primary Program Contact at the Headquarters Location, they are automatically assigned Global administrative rights. When a person is assigned as a Primary Program Contact at any other Location, they are automatically assigned Location administrative rights. An individual cannot hold both Global and Location administrative rights within one Organization.
Non-administrators (associated individuals, not assigned administrative rights) can only view and edit their Individual Profile or MCP information, if any, and can access restricted content on the Partner Program Web site.
Global or Location administrative rights can be assigned to any individual, even if the individual is not assigned to any of the Program Contact Roles. You do not have the authority to change your own administrative rights. For example, a Global Administrator would need to have another Global Administrator make any changes to their administrative rights.
